Finally caved and made a christmas tree out of duskwood shadebushes.
For a lighter green boxwood bushes could be used also but I preferred the shadebush for my night elf house.
The light coming from the ceiling is the netherlight lightwell upside down moved into the ceiling.
I also placed the Tirisgarde Book Tempest around the top of the tree, I thought the floating books looked cool and provided an eyecatching effect.
